We were engaged by the client to obtain planning and building warrant consents to regularise past extensions to the existing dwelling and to make the rear of the dwelling more contemporary. The brief was to extend to the rear to provide a garden terrace with a spiral staircase accessing the garden. The Siberian Larch was selected and left untreated so that over time it weathers and matches the woodland surroundings. We also carried out a full competitive tender process and continued our involvement as contracts administrators throughout the construction phase.
